Indosenia: Ada begitu banyak tempat untuk dikunjungi di Jakarta sehingga saya tidak bisa memutuskan kemana akan pergi.
Salah: There are so many places to visit in Jakarta that I am not able to decide where to go.
Benar: There are so many places to visit in Jakarta that I cannot decide where to go.
Indonesia: Kita tidak dapat berhenti tertawa.
Salah: We weren’t able to stop laughing.
Benar: We could’t stop laughing.
Keterangan: Dengan kata kerja rasa (misalnya; see, hear, smell) dan kata kerja pemikiran (misalnya: understand, decide, remember), kita biasanya menggunakan: can, can’t, etc. Contoh: I can’t hear you. // Could you speak a bit louder, please? // I think I can’t smell something burning. // Having met her boss, I can see why she doesn’t like him. // Catatan: Juga; can’t /couldn’t stop doing something: The  book was so fascinating, I couldn’t stop reading it.
